The Othello Community Hospital emergency department is prepared to respond to your emergent and urgent healthcare needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with highly trained physicians and nurses. We handle a wide range of health problems using state of the art equipment to provide you with the highest quality care. Services range from treatment of minor injuries and infections to major health problems including heart attacks, strokes, and traumatic accidents.

The emergency department staff takes pride in treating patients as soon as possible after arriving at the hospital. After an initial assessment, patients are seen based upon the seriousness of their injury or illness and not strictly on a first-come, first served basis. For major trauma cases, patients are stabilized and prepared for prompt transport to larger hospitals. Interpreter services are available for non-English speaking patients. Please inform the nurse if you are in need of this service.

Our emergency department treats over 500 patients a month, including community residents, visitors, and tourists. Spanish Interpreter services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Emergency Department has state of the art equipment to provide you with quality care.
