The mission of the Othello community Hospital Dietary team is to provide high quality, nutritious and appealing meals within the means of the department’s budget. As the Dietary team, our pride and caring is reflected in the foodservice we provide to our patients, guests, visitors, hospital volunteers and fellow staff members.
Services provided by the Dietary department include:
Preparing meals and/or snacks for in-patients at scheduled times according to the doctor’s prescribed diet order.
Diet consultations may be scheduled with a consultant registered dietitian.
Providing in-house meals, snacks for meetings
Catering available for employees and on a limited basis, outside the hospital.
At present, due to Covid restrictions, our dining services in The Servery is open only to employees and medical staff. However, guest meals may be arranged for visitors of patients. We request guest meals be ordered and paid through the main admitting desk. Menus will be available in the patient rooms in both English and Spanish.
