Sleep Clinic
Here at Othello Community Sleep Center, we offer the following treatments for Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Central Sleep Apnea, Complex Sleep Apnea and other sleep related issues. Sleep apnea is a potentially serious disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts. If left untreated, sleep disorders like sleep apnea can have a tremendous effect on cardiovascular health and increase your risk of other medical problems like stroke, diabetes, and depression. You may have sleep apnea if you snore loudly or if you feel tired even after a full night's sleep. If you are having problems sleeping, your care provider may refer you to our board-certified sleep specialist Dr. Cheta Nand for a comprehensive consultation. Othello Community Sleep Center is an Accredited Sleep Lab by American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and a Center of Excellence by the Healthcare Authority Administration (HCA).
Center of Excellence at Othello Community Sleep Center
To determine a diagnosis and the best treatment plan for sleep-related issues, your doctor may suggest a home sleep study or a study at Othello Community Sleep Center (accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine). A sleep study is a noninvasive, overnight exam that monitors your sleep stages to identify possible disruptions in the pattern of your sleep. The study will also measure eye movements, oxygen levels in your blood, heart and breathing rates, snoring, and body movements. On the evening of your scheduled sleep study, you will arrive at Othello Community Sleep Center and be given your own private room for the night. Your Hotel like suite is designed to feel like your own room at your home. The relaxing and comfortable environment will provide you with a good night's sleep. Each room includes a Sleep Number bed with nice linens, a private restroom, and a flat-screen television. To inquire about a comprehensive sleep consultation with our sleep specialist please call our sleep clinic at 509-331-2630 or have your primary doctor fax a referral to us at 509-331-2662.
